He's this blind cult-leader who is under the control of a guy called Snoke. He doesn't talk a whole lot, and is pretty erratic and everyone around him doesn't really want him there. There's an exchange where General Hux snarls to another captain about his volatile behaviour. He talks a lot in a weird organic cave on a ship. It's mostly a black rock formation. Vader's helmet is in there, along with some relics from the Clone Wars era. Only thing I noticed that tipped me off was a burnt up robe that seemed to be Palpatine's. Not sure. Anyway, he has holes in his eyes. Yes, he kills Han. No, you don't find out if he's the son of anyone. The exchange between Han and Leia hugging is after Han's just seen Kylo Ren unmasked. She says 'I felt it' and she embraces him. It's heavily implied that he's their son, but haven't known he's alive for a while. We don't get confirmation.
Cool scene where he tells Rey "You don't deserve your name". Again, it's reality heavily implied but they never specifically say 'Rey is han and leia's daughter. A knowing silent exchange after 3rd act between Rey and Leia is interesting. I'll stop rambling.
What is Snoke?
I don't get all the fuss online, he's in 2 scenes. General Hux and Kylo Ren visit him in the first 20 minutes to tell him about Finn after the big explosion on Jakku. They tell him about the lightsaber and his outburst. You don't see him, but you hear him. Booming voice, surrounding them. Almost like a presence.
Kylo Ren returns to Snoke after killing Han, and tells him about Rey being force-sensitive. You get a brief glance of his face. It's weird, and matte white. Really sickening face. In the same scene, Hux enters during the exchange, to tell Snoke that the Starkiller has been taken over by the resistance, and is being pointed towards Snoke's weird force planet thing. Snoke unleashes a flurry of lightning towards Hux, showing us a brief look of what is the most horrifying fucking face I've seen in a really long time. Hux is burnt to a crisp. Snoke collapses, and Kylo walks towards him to pick him up. Almost like those two drivers in Inside Llewyn Davis. It's happened before.

Luke is in the 3rd act more than most people think. He's in a temple, crusted over by this magnetic sand. He looks like he's been hibernating forever. We here the trapped voices of a bunch of dead Jedi (I assume). He awakens when Rey ignites the lightsaber for the first time. It's kind of a creepy scene. Reminded me of Mad Max: Fury Road a bit. He doesn't seem to have a lightsaber, but he does things with the force that I haven't seen. Things disintegrate when he touches them. It's like he has a really unstable energy, that he's not making a great attempt to focus. Bit vacant upstairs. What else.... hmmmm. There's no flashbacks. Expect close to NONE of your questions to be answered. It's a great movie, but it's still 1 of 3. No reason to hide Max Von Sydow, it's just that he's not in the film much. He plays what looks like a weird mormon village leader who just gets slayed by kylo. It's a very strange casting choice. Maz Kanata is the most jarring part of the film. Doesn't really feel like Star Wars to me. Her parts felt disjointed and disingenuous to the story. Didn't buy that a 4 1/2 foot mystic alien was once 'the galaxy's greatest smuggler'

You have to understand, I've seen it once and I couldn't really rewind and pause. The reality is, they don't stop and say 'this is from this, this is from that'. I'm speculating on the things that I'm not claiming to have 100% knowledge of. Things aren't as straight forward as we want them to be. There's definitely the old, burnt robe, and vader's helmet. they all have their own podium. Within a day of release, people will have made a list of all the easter eggs in the room. The fight is before they go to Snoke. That's literally near the very end. The 'very last visit to the villain lair before the movie ends' shit. They DO take over the star killer weapon, after the fight. That shot of the Knights of Ren is a vision that Rey has when she's sleeping on a medbay bed next to Finn. They walk toward the camera and KYLO swings towards what we assume is Rey's POV. The camera falls like a dead body, and the eyes watch as carnage ensues. A Green lightsaber flurries in the darkness, and a lot of horrific screams/cries. Not sure what this was, but I assumed it was her slowly rediscovering her past/future, and allowing herself to get in touch with the force. She wakes up in a sweat.

The only peolle mentioned in the crawl is General Organa and Poe Dameron. The gist is, republic is divided, and General Organa, once a great military leader, feels the rising of something from her past. Against the wishes of her council, she sends her pest pilot from their military (the resistance), Poe Dameron, to safely return vital information to an unknown source on Jakku. He brings it to Max Von Sydow. First Order comes, Max encrypts the message and is horrified. Gives Poe an old dusty box, and tells him to die for it, to guard it with his life. Poe places it in BB-8 and tells him to run. First Order captures Poe, and they take him onboard the star destroyer floating above Jakku. Finn watches as Poe is escorted past him. A girl is about to be killed by another stormtrooper, before Finn reaches out instinctively and has some force outburst. Everything is silent. Phasma towers over Finn and knocks him out. He wakes up on board the destroyer next morning. Poe has had a long night of interrogation. He's good though, and has that Han wit in peril. Meanwhile, BB-8 finds Rey, who initially tries to take him apart before BB comedically spins out, playfully attacking her. She walks him into the market place, to find out the vlaue. Meanwhile Finn is in a hangar bay, awaiting further instruction. While he knows his superiors are going to kill him in good time, he doesn't feel like playing the waiting game. You can piece together what happens next
