I remember being amazed when I realized how little actual evidence there is.
A lot of it is lies of omission. They'll show you a room and say it was a gas chamber and edit out the side of the room with a large glass window, or ignore the wooden doors. I was watching this documentary made my Hitchcock after the war and they are showing piles of starved corpses and blaming their deaths on the terrible Nazis. Then in another shot we see Jewish prisoners bathing for the first time in weeks. These prisoners however are well fed and even a bit chubby. Could it be perhaps that it was typhus that killed the others? How else can you explain the disparity in health and wait? In fact, they even show that some of the liberated Jews are still dying in Allied custody because they are sick with typhus.
Once you stop asking if the Holocaust could have happened and instead look for evidence that it actually DID, you find their just isn't anything there.

Quite a lot. Obviously from a very insular persepective, you wouldn't be able to really talk the big picture, gas chambers and whatever. But people witnessed the ghettos, the deportations and the mass shootings, the hunts, the hiding and betraying and obviously people also lived nearby the camps. Like I said, I know people who openly talk about the best thing Hitler did was getting rid of all the Jews. The town I'm from was 60something percent Jewish. Guess how many are still there and who now lives in the nice appartements in the city center.

Supposedly people even less than a mile away from the camps could see smoke coming out of the chimneys but never thought anything of it because the Nazis hid it so well. There's no reason why just being in Germany or Poland would make them more likely to believe in mass extermination, although I imagine just witnessing the horrors of war in general might make you more likely to believe that humans could be capable of such a thing.

I've actually never heard the "We didn't know" narrative in Poland. Even the film Shoah spins it more to "We didn't really care". Not sure how much people knew about the gas chambers. What people knew was that those who weren't shot before (which was a lot, especially in the East, people always focus on the camps) got deported into the camps and in almost all cases never came back. So you can argue about numbers and gas chambers and typhus, it doesn't change the fact that the Jewish population was suddenly violently removed from Poland and you can see the ruins of it in practically every town.

The more i scrutinized sources the more i found outright lies supporting the death camp narrative. In fact any hard evidence i found pointed to the "revisionist" side of the argument. The pictures of piles of
bodies were textbook typhus cases, the human skin lamp was a fake, numerous photos of nazis killing or harrasing jews were found to be totally doctored, many bizarre eyewitness accounts from "survivors" filled with outright lies and exaggerations.
I dont care if you dont want to research it like i did but plz dont just try to shut down open discussions by comparing the other side to a terrorist.
