I love this show, but it has progressively been having a more detrimental effect on the subjects' lives. Corey's life was obviously awkward and lonely, but he was somewhat integrated in society. I can't see his social life surviving this episode. And imagine the normie acquantainces who come upon this show via gossip and are unaware of Nathan, his humour and his purposes.
I also don't think Corey was an actor. If he's a real person then, his life is pretty much fucked now, maybe to the point he can't leave his parents house ever again.

Smokers Allowed. Nathan helps a bar that's down on customers by making it host a play called "Smokers Allowed". Then he rounds up strangers from other bars to sit in the bar under the guise that they can smoke there, while also getting some theater enthusiasts in telling them it's a play called "Smokers Allowed"
The theater guys actually like the play, so Nathan sees the potential for the play (which was just a random evening at the bar) and hires actors to re-enact the evening. One of them was a couple, but Nathan felt the actress wasn't convincing enough with her "I love you" line. So Nathan stepped in place of the actor portraying the guy in the couple to practice the line until he felt it was good enough, but also feeds into Nathan's character as the wiard of loneliness

I used to have a hypno-POV video from some niche porno company that had a section where the hypno-domme would tell you to close your eyes, then open them and she'd blow you a kiss then tell you to close your eyes and do it again and again for about ten minutes.
After about five minutes you really start to feel like its real and I began to fall in love with her, after ten minutes I was in love with her because it felt so real and I felt so alone without her and it was just the two of us, her kissing at me over and over again and no other stimulation aside from her voice and her kisses.

I basically agree with you. The only excuse I can think of is he's thoroughly demolishing his persona. He started as affable and he's now becoming mean spirited in a fucked up way. That may be entertaining and inventive, sure, but his protagonists are becoming his victims and they don't deserve their treatment nor the eternal infamy that comes with a 2015 tv show.
