I don't know, but Sarah Hyland has really sexy hairy arms and a cute fuzzy mustache. It's so hot.
There is no reason. None at all. It adds to the humor of the show, sure, but it makes no sense.

To be honest op, the only bard part of the show was the script, the actors, and the rubber dildo nightstick. I actually liked the premise and location. The actors were overdoing it though.
