Season 1:Impeccable antagonist who is always one step ahead of everyone thanks t the plot conviniences and is omnipotent. Untill it`s time for him to fuck up and die.

2) The Autistic couple is surrounded by an aura of blind luck. It became tedious at episode 8.

Overall, I enjoyed Season 2 more than teh first one untill episode 8, where it became obvious that Edd and Peggy are protected by the screenwriters, and fucking aliens in episode 9.
And yeah, that famous Sioux Falls massacre sucks ass. Very anticlimactic.
Season one was a little more boring but the quailty was more or less consistent.

It has always been about investigating huge conspiracy much bigger that the main characters. In the first season they don`t get anywhere near the real killers. In season two they make some progress but the system breaks them.
They are different in style(mystic "Southern gothic" vs urban industrial jungle), different in plot progression (Flashbacks riding flashbacks vs straight storytelling.)
Characters (Rust with his philosophical ramblings, more simple and straight forward Marty vs 4 equally mentally tormented characters.) and even heavy supernatural undertone vs more realistic noir detective.
It`s just a matter of taste. I really hope season 3 will be entierly different than the previous two.
