I've never read the comic fully, but from the pages and illustrations of the character I've seen, the casting choice wasn't quite smug enough. The comic version looks smug to the point of it being dangerous to everyone around him. Like you would naturally underestimate him at every turn and he'd fuck you because of it. Any comic readers care to comment?
