Really and I mean REALLY shitty 1990s Reboot cgi. I would rather have really shitty practical effects than this, at least there would be some charm to it.

Show of the year. No complaints.
Easy to watch. Not too long, not too short. Great gore. Great comedy. All new characters except black female cop are great. Campbell and Lawless are awesome.
I love it.
That being said, the supporting characters kinda suck.
kind of funny, but it makes you appreciate modern tv and films. they basically took the "how to make a movie" handbook from the 80s and applied to in 2015. token character laws seem to apply even when your cast is like 5 people so they got one nigger, one jew, one spic, one white woman and ash, which alone kind of ruins the show. none of them are funny except for the main character and xena hasnt even shown any skin yet so meh

At first I hated the two sidekicks, but they're growing on me. They're still offensively bad actors though. Did they purposely find the least talented available? I don't get it. Are they paying them in sandwiches?

It's enjoyable so far, but no where near as great as it could be. Tone-wise, it seems like the show isn't sure where it wants to be on the line between Evil Dead and Army of Darkness, so it just flounders in the middle. I feel like it's on Bruce Campbell cruise control where he is the only thing outstanding and it just relies on his charm, but that's not enough. Side characters aren't great, but can have their moments. Lawless the Flawless is very underutilized. The way she shows up for only two minutes, has some obvious backstory, and disappears again is very gimmicky.
Overall, it's enjoyable, but I'm not convinced it'll rise above fan-pandering nostalgia reliance.
