Read the book/play it's good, I'm interested in how much of it was actually true to history when Robert Bolt wrote it.

Better than Wolf Hall I bet.

How can one man be so based? Love it, love Paul Scofield in it, love Robert Shaw in it, love John Hurt in it, love whoever played that fucker Cromwell in it, love whoever played Norfolk in it.
Loved it.
Saw "The Sting" (Paul Newman, Robert Redford, Robert Shaw), and a 50 year old coworker went off about how awesome Shaw is and how I should see "A Man for All Seasons". 100% satisfied and glad I did.

It's really, really good even though the historical characterization is questionable. That's not important, though, it's a great movie. Everyone should watch it.
Got a favourite scene? I'll post the page

Where the fuck do you think you are that you need to list the actors in a film for people?

I don't know, there might be some ooga-booga tier crime movie called "The Sting" and didn't want it to be confused with that godly film.

It tells a satisfying story better than Wolf Hall, which tries and fails to make More the bad guy and instead makes Cromwell look like a right old arsehole, even though he's not the one torturing people, for going along with the absolute monster Henry for no personal motivations. (I'm talking about the miniseries. I haven't finished the books yet; I'm about halfway through the first one.)

A snoozefest. Only watched it for Welles.
