How many years does being in love with movies last? I'm being a movie buff since about 15. I'm 26 no, and my passion for movie has been steadily declining since 5 years ago? I'm expecting by the time I'm 30 to barely watch movies anymore. Anyone else thinks about this?

dumb frogposter
Only reason i still watch movies is to shitpost about them here desu
>this is unironically the state of my life

20 here, losing interest already desu
i'm basically a normie though, so i don't really care as long as i can transition into amusing myself with something else
I go through times like that but then I watch a great movie and I'm really into it again.

I was really into expanding my mind with films and drugs at 14 - 20ish. Now I can't seem to find the mental energy to sit down in front of an blockbuster, much less a foreign film (Still love "All About Lily Chou Chou" though). I'd rather create my own stuff now, I'm trying to become a graphic designer.
For me my love for every art form last around two years then it fades out get replaced by another and then it'll come back. I mean is not like I stop with all the media and just focus on one or two but rather my main obsession changes with time. Right now I'm into Classic O&A, Jack Kerouac books, and Flashpoint.
The shift is starting to change to Ambient, Buñuel, technical drawing and Alan Moore.
Similar here. I've been serious about movies for about 4 years now, but it's been hard to watch many lately. Maybe it will come and go. Also, I usually work 55-65 hour weeks, so that makes doing most anything in your freetime hard.

I'm still really fucking into them. Pretty much been like this my entire life. I used to slightly prefer videogames until I no longer had the tie/money/respect
Went through a television phase
But I don't see my love of movies ever waningand it better not since im trying to make it in the industry - i'm such a talented special snowflake!

>Alan Moore
kek m8 for fucks sake
anyhow pick up an instrument, they're quite rewarding at every stage if you have these periods of obsession, both while learning (and unless you're a retard) two years in when you're actually good

You'll make something great one day. Don't give up.
Unless your collections as good as mine you still have a way to go plebs...

>love it more when it's a great movie that i know others will find great
this is the sign of a pleb
you've had 49 years to sort your shit out
this is basically just confirmation that some people are just born plebs and can never be anything more
