It is the story of modern American hero Agent Steve Murphy and his efforts to bring down the Colombian cartel. The show revolves around him and his just as interesting wife. He's a complex and richly drawn character portrayed beautifully by acclaimed actor and household name Boyd Holbrook. As a bonus he also pulls double duty and narrates the story with a voiceover that isn't annoying in the slightest. Also his facial hair is completely normal looking and doesn't make him look like a pedophile.
Be sure to check out Narcos, exclusively on Netflix. Be careful though, you might just get hooked.
