What's so comedic about it?

That scene where the Nazi monsters break in and murder his Jewish family before slitting his throat made me chuckle.

Pic related is my favorite Werewolf movie. Any recommendations for similar (already seen Dog Soldiers)?

I was told to check out the Howling series, is that any good?

The dead spirits taunting him to kill himself.

Also Fozzie Bear out of fucking nowhere in this movie jumped me more than anything.

"FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!"

Great scene

I've only seen the first one, but it's a great movie. I've heard they get really awful after that, but maybe a couple of the sequels are alright.
As for other movies, An American Werewolf in London is a must watch because it's actually a great movie with more to it than ohshitwerewolves going for it, but you should also check out Wer, which very underrated and a unique take on werewolf movies to say the very least.

mostly the dialogue. that scene on the moors manages to be funny and completely terrifying at the same time. the wolf's howl still gives me chills.
>>
>>63334896
Why was that scene even in there? Did they just need something scary to happen before he first transformed?

Bad Moon.

What makes that part so good is that you don't see a damn thing. You just hear the howl and some heavy breathing in arbitrary directions. The marriage of surrounding darkness and vulnerability are bananas in this scene. So great.

The Company of Wolves
It's not really a horror movie, more a quaint British gothic fantasy movie. It's a lot of fun though.
Also check out Late Phases, it's about a blind veteran who moves to a retirement village but surprise surprise there's a werewolf running around. Just don't expect anything good out of the special effects.

Bad Moon and Silver Bullet are great.
>>
>>63335457
It's terrible. Don't bother with The Company of Wolves.

Mate if people are going to recommend made for TV b-movies like Bad Moon in this thread, I'm going to recommend The Company of Wolves. It's a great movie.

You're biased. British movies are 99.99% dog shit.
>>
>>63336702
I'm not British.
>>
>>63336718
Well, then you're just an idiot. Thanks for clarifying.
>>

Whatever you want to believe, friend.
Let's have some real talk though, why didn't you like The Company of Wolves? I really like the set design and gothic sort of tone of it. Has an atmosphere about it you don't see in many horror movies today.
It's sort of like Ravenous to me, not the best movie but one I definitely appreciate for how unique it is.

I don't think he's seen it, totally failed to state anything about why he didn't like it when pressed.
