I was OK with this cancellation because it meant that the canon ending of the series was that Anna won.

On the grand scale, what did she ever do wrong? She fought, she deceived, she killed, all in a single-minded will to power, often with her own survival at stake, but she had no desire to cause undue harm. If she had really wanted to, her fleet could have glassed Earth 10 seconds after their arrival.

The show just sucked. The writing was bad and the CGI was worse.
