Right, they do look similar, but let's be honest, is "Big grayish strong monster" really that innovative in the first place? Besides I think they're still separate enough from what we've seen. Doomsday was never Abomination to begin with, and he will never be Abomination, because that'd be like if Lex Luther became Dr. Doom. They're too different.
