The sopranos if you haven't watched it yet.
Watch a couple episodes of Hannibal, it'll either grab you or it won't. It (was) one of the best networks shows on right now.
Another show that's pretty good for network television is The Good Wife.
It's kind of a political/law/drama.
It may take a little bit to grow on you but I really got hooked. Alan Cumming alone makes it worth the watch.
