Once Otto was out of the picture it was going to be a buyer's market on loyalty, and after years of Dodd's shit, surely Hanzee would have been open to a better offer if presented. I could see a changeover if they opt to go that way with it, though the haircut scene kind of shits on that theory.

Several reasons. To disguise himself while on the run, for one thing. Secondly, because an Indian cutting off their hair is deeply symbolic and almost akin to cutting off their identity (perhaps a reaction to him being treated like shit for being an Indian) and three because it's an allusion to Samson and Delilah, which Dodd was talking about earlier in the show. Samson had his hair cut by Delilah and it made him lose his power.

It just keeps twisting and turning, giving me emotional rollercoasters, keeping me on my toes as to what's going to happen next. And it targets such universal intelligent and emotional aspects of existence: Just how they dealt with alienation and how it was portrayed through one of the characters in the last episode - it sucks me in like holy fuck. There's also the symbols and the cues that are given throughout, giving you vague ideas of what's to come; then giving you what you expect, if you manage to perceive the "references", but surprising you with the quality of the execution from a scenographic and theatrical perspective.

Everyone's going to saying this anyway so I hate to circle jerk an opinion but yeah if you have any interest at all in quality television, Fargo season 2 is essential viewing, it's not only the best show of the year, it's one of the best seasons of television in recent memory. It has it all.
Likable characters with compelling arcs, artful, breathtaking direction and cinematography (especially for when the shit goes down), top-notch scripts week after week with great dialogue and a thrilling plot that's just a to watch unfold, exellent song choices coming up at just the right moments, and every episode has another few hints and nods to ufo's, really hype to see how that pans out.
Oh and just really clever forshadowing and metaphoric imagery as well.
