The midseason finale, titled Start to Finish, could very well describe the process of planting one's ass onto a toilet bowl and taking a firm shit, start to finish. Unsurprisingly, this is a strong metaphor for this absolutely abysmal season of The Walking Dead, beginning with the bland greyscaled flashbacks and ending with the most anticlimatic mid season finale to ever be dropped in the toilet bowl. You and I, we saw a few novels worth of character development for about every single goddamn character the writers could manage to give a shit about, but through it all, -*commercial break*-we had hoped that all this build up would pay off for an amazing mid season finale.
Our anticipation was beginning to be quenched with the arrival of the walking dead in Alexandria, destroying all in its path. -*commercial break*-The stage was set for an incredible performance of a final clash of character development and action. What we saw, instead, was the writers' collective attempt to tell its audience a mighty "Fuck- *commercial break* -You." One entire hour of fucking ABSOLUTE NOTHING, with little bits of -*commercial break*- A LITTLE BIT MORE THAN NOTHING, followed by another helping of FUCK YOU, MORE ABSOLUTE NOTHING. One on ones with about every fucking character, while Gabriel strokes Jesus's cock and Judith shits herself in her crib with no one to fucking protect her. -*commercial break*-
These long winded paragraphs are probably nothing more than incoherent rage but what can a fan possibly do when they put up with seven fucking episodes of ABSOLUTE NOTHING only to have a season finale that, SURPRISE, is ABSOLUTE. FUCKING. -*commercial break*- NOTH-*commercial break*-ING.

Carol and Rick are by far the most interesting characters in the show. I've never gotten the love for Daryl, he's not a bad character but he's a pretty standard redneck with a heart of gold. Glenn was great in the first couple of seasons but once his relationship with Maggie got serious he became bland.

Clearly it doesn't matter. Those walls could hold the walkers back whether the steel was inside or out, but it's definitely worse for them to be on the outside since humans can easily climb up the girders.
But really, the spear is the absolute ideal weapon for this type of situation, spears are designed to kill from a distance, whether thrown or used as a hand weapon.
