Every three days a new skull is added, which rounds up to 122 skulls a year. The first time we see the skulls is after 7000 years, so there should be around 854K skulls. 7000 years was enough time to leave about 30 meters of water depth. 2 billion years is more than enough time to fill that 30 meters with skulls were they not being constantly biodegraded

I can't answer from the diamond wall, but another anon posited that buried slab wasn't reset each time because the energy field doing the resetting did not span below ground level.
