>It's a Michael's mom needs help episodeThe best ones tb h
>>63121210
I watched this series the whole way through and have sort of mixed feelings on it just because it's so formulaic.
I like monster of the week series but even X Files tried to switch up its formula sometimes.
>>63121234
>it's a Michael's mom tells everyone to stop being stupid episode
>>63121210
>it's a Sam's girlfriends are neurotic wealthy cougars who make his life difficult episode
>>63121254
Oh yeah it totally is, but like with most good formulaic shows, it works because the characters and their relationships and banter with eachother are so damn good.
Only thing I didn't like was how his mother died. Aside from that, one of my favourite TV shows.
On my third watch at the moment.
Such a good and fun show apart from the last season or two where it got too far up its own ass and went in circles.
I loved the earlier basic episodes where Michael was just like 'what I do I do with my life now, oh shit some gansters or whatever, time to get my MacGyver on'
>>63121802
It took a pretty serious nose dive when they made Poochie a regular character.
If they really wanted to introduce a new character to freshen things up, they should have introduced a younger female operator/agent to create some tension with Fi.

I was perpetually confused as to Jesse's ethnicity, he's like a cross between Vin Diesel and the Rock
>its a xena acts like a helpless housewife but is really an elite assassin using mike to track down a target and when he catches her she an heroes because she has no life outside killing and just for a second you see how lonely and empty she is episode
>>63122271
Favorite episode desu.
>it's a Krycek is now a mob boss who's gained a significant amount of weight episoed
>>63121210
>it's a Larry is back episode
>It's a Burn Notice episode
Time to comfy up.
>It's an "Otter from Animal House gets hired by the oldest brother from Home Improvement to kill the slutty neighbor from Caroline in the City" episode.
>its a cylon six lays around the pool in a black bikini episode
Lots of good guests on this show.
>It's a "Sam's in charge of product placement" episode.
>its a michael gives commentary on spy snacks while on a stake out scene
the comfiest
>>63121210
>it's a Dutch kidnaps a child and straps a bomb to him episode
>>63122443
>it's a Fi gets a new car to show off episode
>It's a guns make you stupid, duct tape makes you smart episode.
>its a chuck finley episode
Did anyone else think that Anson was wearing like a rubber spy mask but that turned out to be his actual face?
Then Jere Burns was of course on Justified as Wynn Duffy, one of the GOAT characters
>it's an episode where someone comments on miss skeletal/fiona being beautiful
>>63121234
The Cagney & Lacey reunion episode was GOAT. Sharon Gless was the emotional engine of that show.
>its a "as a spy you can act like a douchebag and punch people to make them believe your story in the right situation" episode
>>63122579
Dude has a suspicious amount of buddies willing to do favours for him
>>63121210
>it's a law enforcement apparently takes an eternal break in Miami whenever Michael has to do something illegal episode
>>63122648
More bombs than fucking Baghdad going off in Burn Notice's Miami
>>63122648
>It's a Hot Chicks in Bikinis B-Roll episode
>>63121210
>First couple seasons
>Fun, light hearted episode of the week format where he does shit like scare drug dealers by pretending to be Satan
>Last couple seasons
>Dark, serialized show all about the CIA and conspiracies and shit
Why did they do this? Him being a burned spy in the early seasons was just a setup element for the plots, not the main focus, and it was never particularly interesting whenever they concentrated on why he got burned or whatever. But then that became the whole show.
>it's a sam axe causes controversy by not wearing the exact right dress uniform and takes his hat off at the wrong time movie
>>63122589
That always made me cringe. The show was always doing the 'bikini girls hanging with the rich gangsters by the pool' establishing shots, then crispy tanned Fi in her forties comes swanning in and the boss gangster is immediately all over her.
>>63122683
I kept waiting them to do something good with the revenge/clear my name theme. Instead we got the retarded final season leading up to settling down with fiona in ireland.
>>63121210
>it's a superficially simple job turns out to be more complicated than previously thought episode
>It's an Agent Bly episode
>>63122683
And it always turned out that Michael was just such a good spy that all bad guy wanted was to work with him all along, if only you'd see it my way we could run the spy game etc.
>>63122750
>>63122708
It did lose its fun, but I liked the ending. It wasn't perfect, some people died, but Michael and Fi ended up together with a child and it was nice
Couldn't get into this at all for some reason.
>>63122779
Why did the kid's mom just kind of disappear again? Like I know it was Nate's kid but where was she after he died
>>63121210
>it's an Anson killed Michael's father years ago because ??????????? episode
>It's a Seymour Episode
>>63121210
We ever figure out what happened to this cunt?
>>63121210
>it's a Jeffrey Donovan has to act emotional and the crew probably just sort of sighs offscreen episode
>It's a Sugar episode
Fucking loved that guy
>>63122893
>Where's the Giant, Mansly!?!?
>>63122919
>face gets red
>pouts more than usual
>tears pop out like he's mechanical
Jeffrey Donovan everyone!
>It's a "Someone's heard of Michael even though Michael tells everyone not to talk about him" episode
I think Jeffery Donovan has whatever anti-aging secret power Patrick Stewart has.
Watch Sleepers, which was released in 1996, he looks exactly the same.
What a comfy show. Glad normies never really got into it.
>>63121455
Dubs for truth.
I've been trying to figure out why i like it, in spite of formula... but damn it's fun. and THIS is why.I dropped it after Michael pulled a gun on that based terrorist bro who brainwashed him, and pulled some shady jobs or 2 for. The dude pulled a gun on this hot tart mikey wanted to bang, thinking she was the double agent. this happened after he got back from cuba. Is it worth finishing?
>>63122177
>If they really wanted to introduce a new character to freshen things up, they should have introduced a younger female operator/agent to create some tension with Fi.
i was in denial about that, but with that alternative, you're absolutely right.
>>63123431
What are you talking about? Everyone's mom loved this when they weren't watching NCIS reruns.
>>63122969
>>63122817
She ditched the kid with Mikes mom and fucked off.
>>63122814
Its really cheesy. and i love it.
This guy will forever be Dodd to me
>>63123791
>not Lewis aka SATAN
I got a kick out of the one where he has to revert to being an Irishman. Also I love anytime he has to adopt that sleazy arms dealer persona.
>>63123980
Fucking greatest episode I swear to god I was chilly in my comfy sweater from the badassness
>it's a Micheal teaches you how to be a terrorist episode
>>63126002
>tfw no friendly neighborhood domestic terrorist to help you with your problems
>>63121210
>it's a Michael has to interact with children and can't help but reveal his power level episode
Never seen it.
Love Bruce and enjoying Donovan in Fargo. Should I get it?
>>63127292
It's fun to watch. If you enjoy explosions and explanations on how to make them you'll enjoy it.
