crazy idea: instead of The Matrix sequels being about saving Zion from Colonel Sanders, they're more like a cyberpunk Fistfull of Dollars, with Neo travelling around the wasteland getting into shenanigans in little villages and ships that are not Zion, and occasionally jacking into the Matrix to redpill people.
