I am yet to find a movie that captures the feel of utter depression. I havent found a movie that made me want to put an end to my being. Like Joy Division does for me. But there isnt the equivalent of Joy Division for films.

The Swimmer(1968), is a pretty underated and unknown movie. Its the most beautifully sad move I've ever seen, if you want depressing I'd watch it for sure.
