Is this the best satirical show ever made?

Day Today is pretty good too, though I've only seen it in clips posted here.

Pretty much, yeah. After this you'll never want to watch satire again because everything look's like that 'I AM SILLY' MS paint comic in comparison.

Doesn't come close to Brass Eye for me.

>That's it. Bury the beds.
>>
>>63094106
Yes with The Thick of It second. I'm sure there'll be a bunch of americans in here soon to tell you how it isn't but they're wrong.

America here. I've never seen brass eye, but if you rank it above the thick of it I'm going to have to check it out

It's slightly dated, but still funny. It's from the mid-to-late 90s, when Chris Morris was more in vogue and thus could be more outrageous with his material.

The best bits are with Peter O'Hanrahanrahan, imo.

It's amazing and only a few hours long in total. You won't regret it if you have even a passing interest in how the media works. Some of the smaller cultural references (such as the use of C list British celebrities) might be missed though.

>not WHERE'S YOUR SELF RE-COCKING-SPECT
>not "they'd be dead, just smashed to pieces like tongues under a hammer"
>not a pedophile disguised as a school

The entire Paedophilia special stands alone as the best episode.

If I was to make a list of my favourite bits it's would probably be

>oh me oh myra
>don't actually lick it!
>peter o'hanrahanrahan in detroit
>>
>>63094913
I know that's the consensus among Brasseye fans but for me Crime is the most consistently brilliant episode. Animals and Science are also excellent.

Decline is the worst but still good. That Sutcliffe scene with McCririck made me piss myself.
>>
>>63094106
Somehow it's no longer as funny because it became reality.

It's up there, for sure.

Shit, the Sutcliffe musical was too fucking good

If there is a better one, Chris Morris probably did it. Wish more people in America loved him. England get your shit together, and tell Chris to make something new you see him. That Blue Jam money had to run out sometime.

Those are the best, Green Wing is ok, but its hit or miss. He also apparently had a small part in The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret, not Heapcore, but I highly recommend that show, its a great blend of British sarcasm and dry humor, with David Cross and Will Arnet playing the typical loud dumb American stereotypes.

That's nonce sense.

>>63095254
What exactly is that satirising? It's a pastiche of a washing powder commercial with a pretty blunt punch line.

Whats Big Train? Never heard of it.

That? Nothing really, but for obvious reason it would be pointless to post some satire and something more dialogue driven.

I thought this was a TV board? I could google it and now I know it exists, or I could make a post in a thread about the show, and see if anyone gives a helpful opinion.

Big Train is a surreal British television comedy sketch show created by Arthur Mathews and Graham Linehan, writers of the successful sitcom Father Ted. The first series was broadcast on BBC Two in 1998, while the second, in which Linehan was not involved, aired in 2002.

There, I guess Wikipedia has replaced4chan, we can all go home.

OR! and this is crazy, you could google it yourself, find it, watch then come back and comment on it rather than expect someone to wipe your ass and change your diaper, you lazy nigger.

Stop playing the victim card because no one will help you, faggot.
