What happened to him?
>>
He went back to Italy.
>>
>>62991112
this. After tony found out he wanted to fuck Carmella he went back home, and tony said he had people looking for him and if found hes a dead man
of course, that doesn't count for shit because a group of half assed NJ mobsters don't compare to legit Italian mafia families

Same thing that happened to the russian who disappeared in the middle of the woods and who was never seen from again

You're a dumb fuck. The ambiguity added tension.
>>
After the conversation he had with his uncle at his father's funeral, Furio became cold towards Carmela, sold his house in Nutley and went back Naples.
>>
>>62991329

No it didn't it just frustrated people. David The Hack Chase even admits now he should've done more with the russian to explain what happened

>criticizing the greatest show ever created

fuck you.
>>

I liked how big things would just blow over

it's actually tied into how the mafia could continue to exist. by just plowing ahead, not apologizing or admitting wrongdoing, they left it up to their enemies to stand up to them. the cops need enough evidence to bring a case, and other mobsters don't want to start a war.

Tony and everybody else kept fucking people over, and most of the time it would blow over. But things occasionally built up and exploded, or one trivial thing would cause a disaster.

We're not supposed to know who killed Tony. He got away with almost everything, but something Tony did caused that man to go into the bathroom at Holsten's.

You're a pleb. The Sopranos was meant to be more like real life than some shit-tier breaking bad drama.

Life has a lot of loose ends, that's just how it is.
>>

>it just frustrated people
Complete and utter retards maybe? I was not frustrated and loved that air that something was left unfinished that could seriously bite them in the ass

Same kind of dumb fucks who complain that Omar's death was anticlimatic, just totally missing the point

That episode is great. The lack of follow up for three more seasons was hack tier writing

>They shot a guy. Who knows where he went? Who cares about some Russian? This is what Hollywood has done to America. Do you have to have closure on every little thing? Isn't there any mystery in the world? It's a murky world out there. It's a murky life these guys lead. And by the way, I do know where the Russian is. But I'll never say because so many people got so pissy about it.
>>
>>62991566
You can't read into Sopranos too much. The show's as deep as the ocean.

That's why there's been hundred's of books based on the series.
>>
>>62991524
Follow up with what? He's either dead or not. Whatever it is he doesn't come back. I would expect a child to need it more rapped up.
>>
>>62990994
It was never implied that Tony's men found him so I assume is still hiding in Italy

>Implying he wasn't the one the sent the hit men to kill Tony in the last episode so he could finally return to be with Carmella

I love this answer. Can the same answer be used by actual hacks to cover up plotholes, inconsistent internal logic, etc., David Chase isn't a hack. At least, he wasn't a hack during The Sopranos.

The show really is great. Brilliant at times, hilarious at others, and murkily criminal. Using New Jersey as the actual backdrop during shooting was great foresight. Fuck, I'm going to end up rewatching The Sopranos tonight.

>>62991602
Name 100. Assuming there are actually "hundreds" as you said, that would mean there are at least 200 so this should be an easy task for you.
>>
>>62991216
Are you retarded? The tension from not knowing kept the tension with the Russians going for the rest of the series. Was Tony's secret stash safe? Would they find out and start a war or kill him?
>>
CARMELLA CAN YOU SHUT THE DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!

Probably lived happily ever after in Italy or wherever he went even if his love for Carmella was never realized. He was a cool guy.

Furio fucking glaring at Tony that night when they were gambling, and got escorted out in a helicopter. Just staring at him drinking, gambling, and being lecherous. Then he almost pushes him into a fucking spinning blade.

You could tell it triggered Tony's paranoia, too. I love how Chase tapped into subconscious realizations, or tamping down difficult thoughts/concepts with vices. Even with the therapy-exposition that was Melfi, there was still a world of subtlety not directly broached.

I couldn't even make this shit up. Just turn your brain off and enjoy the show god damn.
