Yeah, there were a bunch of cool shots in the last episode. I also like the one of the car grill as Simone arrives at the Pearl hotel, and the shot of the undertaker and co. walking down the sunlit hallway.
The match cuts in the opening montage were also cool, but I've seen enough of that via Breaking Bad/Better Call Saul to last a lifetime.

It's just not as good as people are making it out to be, its like a flat 6/10 which imo is still good for television. But all the people who only watch the walking dead,Breaking Bad,Game of thrones etc and couldn't "get" True Detective and look at this show with a digestible plot and some semblance of competency and think its the best thing in the world because it's willing to cater while also having dashes of things that make higher level shows good, so it's just an over reaction to newfags i suppose.
That aside i think the show is enjoyable for what it is and S2 is miles ahead of S1

I'm not going to pretend Fargo S2 has had a ton of depth in the way that shows like Mad Men/The Sopranos has. But I also never subscribed to the notion that depth = quality. There's plenty of other elements that go into making a show great.
Fargo's plotting this season has been incredible, the character's memorable. It's the same snappy action, suspense and mischief that made season 1 great, but with more polish. Best show in a long time in my opinion.
Goddamn I have not hated a character more than her in a long time.

I agree with most of what you said as i said i enjoy the show i was just trying to explain the reasons why some people are being overly negative towards it. Personally i try to judge a show based upon what i can perceive is the intent of the show so something like the walking dead is instantly trash to me because it was never made to be good only to pull people along for as long as possible. Fargo on the other hand is fun first and foremost it has as you said memorable characters, the cinematography is a little tryhard and the acting is consistent but all of these just add up to it being "fun" im sure it wont give me any questions that i'll need to answer by the end of the series and all the events and transgressions in some way or another will be wrapped up by shows end. This to me means that no matter what it does it's intentions within itself will never make it better than a flat 7.
Going off of that there's really only 1 show thats completely got Fargo outclassed right now and thats The Knick.

I have severe issues with that scene and its outcome in general
First of all, Colin was not provoked in any way to shoot Malvo. Malvo was not armed and from his position did not pose any threat to Colin
Secondly, Colin did not have any reasonable grounds to argue that shooting Malvo (unprovokingly, I should note) was justified on the basis that Colin simply "suspected" that Malvo was a threat to his family, despite there being no logically conclusive basis for Colin to even hold that thought. He had only encountered Malvo once (or twice, I can't remember) and neither meeting would have been reasonable enough for Colin to build that belief, unless Colin is irrational or schizophrenic.
So what we have is that Colin, a police officer first and foremost, has just shot and killed a man who was not armed and was in no physical condition to attack therefore posing no threat, simply on the basis that Colin thought inconclusively, that this man posed a threat to a certain group of people that Malvo logically could not have known about.
Usually this kind of behavior, of unjustified murder (which in this case, it is; Colin murdered Malvo with no real legal means of justifying it) falls under police brutality. But for some reason, the police department in this show is a sub-department of LAPD and therefore, Colin gets congratulated and awarded a medal, and no investigation is brought to conclude whether Colin had any legally reasonable grounds to justify doing what he did. It's just ignored because Malvo is inherently a "bad person" and therefore deserves no rights in this show.
And all of this frustrates me, because its a season focusing on "good vs evil" which ends acting like Colin did the right thing. He literally got away with murder.

I didn't paint him as a victim, I said there was no logical basis for Colin to be reasonably and legally justified in killing Malvo at that point. Innocent or not, there is still a need for logic and legal justification in Colin's actions. Unless you're misinterpreting what I mean here.

The entire movie of Fargo were about the forces of good vs evil and how good inevitably wins. Having this season end the way it did sets the precedent that it is morally righteous to murder someone on the basis that you suspect them as a threat or that they are just "bad people", with ignorance to the wider scope of fairness and justice. Yes, Malvo did some terrible things, but at the same time, the circumstances surrounding the incident didn't give Colin a free pass to flat out murder someone, as that cannot really be morally justified regardless of whether Colin thought it was the right thing or not. A reasonable cop would of taken the opportunity to arrest Malvo, not just flat out murder him when the facts surrounding the entire season had not been made perfectly straight to the police.

I really didn't understand this episode's point very well. Why did they not show us Hanzee going after Ed and Peggy? Why didn't they show him killing the two state patrolmen? Why did they just completely skip over that for the sake of a much less interesting plotline? The wife snitching on the Kansas boys, the Undertaker plotline and the girl that wants to bust a nut getting her deserved death were all plotlines that should have been shortened for the sake of the one that actually matters.
Not to mention the fact they wasted a lot of time with the stupid drawings that I am gonna assume is related to aliens because what the fuck is this show even doing?
