the potential was there, I really think the themes about alchemy, the catacombs of paris, hell and demons were a really good idea for a movie, unfortunately the result was just awful, boring and not spoopy at all.

I'm actually sad this movie didn't get the recognition it deserved. Nobody talks about it, even though it was made a year before the matrix and the amount of pottery is uncanny (they even recycled sets from it)
