Either they're letting Norm write his own material or the person writing for him is a genius.
It has the weirdest tone of any show on right now, the humor seems almost totally improvised and the plots are usually pretty fucked (especially the serial killer episode). That being said it's still pretty funny.

It feels like the writers are too afraid to be too funny with the concept because Tyson might get angry and punch them so most of the show feels limp wristed.
It's an extremely average show and I try to avoid watching it because squandered potential depresses me.
