Seriously, if you get scared by monsters, aliens, ghosts and slashers as an adult, then you should go ahead and end yourself now.
The diner scene in Mulholland Drive. Come to think of it, a lot of characters in that film were unnerving.
In the same vein, the mother in Sleepaway Camp was weird as shit. Way before the ending, you knew something was up with her.
Characters who are just that little bit off are far spookier than a sudden shock.
>>62949879
>>62949915
He's right though. Women and children love that shit.
The problem with Sleepaway Camp is that the girl has a tight sexy body throughout the movie, shes wearing a little shirt and shorts throughout, even a bathing suit at one point I think. Then suddenly when naked has broad shoulders and narrow hips, they could have gotten an androgynous guy or something and just made the dick more obvious I dunno.
The scariest film I've seen is probably Das Boot.
1AM, surround sound, high volume and audio range, all lights off in the house. Quite immersive, I recommend it.

No, instead they go for parody style where there's no way you can actually be drawn in to the movie, it's like watching poorly executed kill sketches which are supposed to be funny but are not.
Not that the first one was remotely good, but it played out like a straight horror flick, and the twist was effective at least.

Not him but it's proper hell. I'm half blind so I don't really see things. I had a 2 week period where I feared going to sleep because the attacks happened nightly.
For me anyway I just lay there, sometimes on my face, not being able to move with huge amounts of panic surging through my body. I am usually fully concious, fully aware of the fact that I was having an attack, trying to sleep but too much adrenaline or something. Are you asking about what you have to do to get sleep paralysis? Because I can't really remember the exact process it kind of happened by accident, I was in that state of semi-awake, semi-sleeping where you few kind of groggy and really out of body and couldn't sleep
Now my computer monitor has an orange light that stays on through the night so I can make out the rest of my room barely. So I'm lying there and then all of a sudden I feel this darkness come over me and it made it hard to breathe and I tried to close my eyes but I could still see the darkness that was in my room even when my eyes were closed

I have periods where I feel I am lying but can't move, feels like hours. Usually nothing paranormal, just feel that when I move I end up in the same position staring at the same place. One time I saw some shadow-person walk towards me, and I screamed to my brother to wake his ass up and help me, but I woke up instead. Another time I had my hand touch the side of my couch, felt someone grab it. Jolted awake from that. Those things are super rare for me though, more like often it's like the immobilized sort. I need glasses to see so that must be it. Most shit is blurry when I get those periods.
