Tig was acting on orders for Opie's wife, from Clay when he was head. Tig was the Sgt-at-arms, the right-hand of Clay. Can't fault him, really.
August Marks notkilling Tig when Jax -finally- gave him up in that warehouse by the docksis the big thing to me. Not that Tig would kill if ordered, or even act recklessly for Clay (before their falling out). Clay/Jax/Gemma are the literally worst characters in SoA in terms of ruining lives/institutions.
