I think it's possible to make the argument this is the greatest movie ever made
It is possible to make said argument, but that doesn't change the fact that it's a shitty argument that most sane people will reject.

Too bad it was not made when 4chan was around. It would have been The Dark Night Rises of the time with how many memes it would make.

Hackers has as many memes as TDKR tbqh lad

I am talking about the initial avalanche of memes where it was wall to wall with TDKR and saying it would have been wall to wall with hackers instead of the occasional meme we see now.
I can just imagine all the shit How Did This Get Made is gonna talk about
HACK THE PLANET

PREEEEAAAAACH
The hacking sequences were actually good, they portrayed a relatively accurate description of the abstract concept of hacking.
They used old footage, pixel art, 90's gifs and ended with a nice early days of the internet feel.
And the theme of cybercrime was 15 or so years ahead of its time.
The movie had a genius that took a decade to truly apreciate it.

They look like wannabe cool hipster fucking retro trash shit. All of them have a smug aura to them that demands a fist to the face technique to be used upon them immediately. The guy Fawkes is terrible but that's worse.

I'll spell it right for you from now on, sweetheart.
Underrated classic
