I thought the first one was a bit dull due to the unnecessary need to write Jez back to the apartment, but the second one was pretty hilarious, almost complete return to form.

Thats a huge overstatement. They kept making great episodes every year until season 8. It was a moderate drop after 4, then a slow decline, then a pretty large drop
The one thing I really like about this show is the first person shots. I noticed that they're done at the perfect eye level as if you're actually the person. Just thought that was really cool.

the way the episode was paced I thought the wedding would be a few episodes away but with each scene something drastically new was happening, The "twins" throw back was unexpected and one of the highlights.
mark getting punched in the face felt unfunny and weird, I enjoyed the GCHQ dating fort joke at the beginning of the episode.
the first few series definitely feel like the best but the show needs to die a respectful death now. The writers have lost their edge .
