What movies do intelligent people watch?
Anything in black and white, really.
>>62904734
Depends on the level of intelligence. When you get way up there you probably don't watch any movies.
Intelligent people don't watch movies, they watch cinema, and occasionally films
I have a clinically evaluated IQ in the 99th percentile and I enjoy watching all kinds of films as long as they're good.

>The Inside Out guy is shittalking anime

Yes, I like some anime, but to me it's just another genre. 90% of it is garbage, because 90% of anything is garbage.

they practice the dhamma
Intelligent people watch whatever the fuck movies they're in the mood for and have moved past the peer pressure stage of life.
>>62904734
Foreign ones.
>>62905134
For someone in the 99th percentile, you sure use a lot of clichés.
>>62904734
Anime. Exclusively anime.
>>62904734
intelligent people watch films, not movies.
>>62905437
Yeah, well, IQ is not a measure of how few fuckin cliches that you use, brah.

You know, I hate this meme. I really do.
>>62904747
black and White movies are watched by pretentious kids and art majors
I think that you have a better chance of meeting a smart person at a capeshit premiere
>>62904734
I usually only watch stuff with a 7.0 rating or higher, no preference for genre.
Most films aren't intended for people who think because the common audience gets distracted by their own concentration.
There is rarely a movie session that I can sink into, so it usually just ends up being an "unforced" episode of MST3K.

Well, if IQ is worth anything, I'd think that you'd be a bit more witty with your language.
>>62905553
Yeah, well, fuckin, it's not worth anything. IQ is just a measure of how well you perform on IQ tests.
>>62905593
So then why did you bring it up?
>>62905626
I dunno, I guess I brought it up because I'm fucking stupid.
>>62904734
whatever they want
>>62905659
How about next time you reconsider posting, for our sake?
>>62905505
Yeah but people are fucking stupid, you can't trust their ratings. For instance, one of my favorite movies of all time has a 4.5 on IMDB. So I don't know if there's really like a good formula to determine what movies are gonna be good and what one's won't. I sort of think that finding movies has to be, like, a dynamic, creative process. I think you always have to approach it in a new way. You can't just like say, oh, well, IMDB doesn't like it, therefore it sucks, because a lot of the time that's not true, and just because it's rated highly, that doesn't make it good, either.

And canned laughter shows annoy me to no end.
It's manipulation. And I notice it as if it were text popping up in the middle of the screen telling me to laugh.
>>62905703
Oh, I'll reconsider it, but I'll come to the same conclusion.
>>62905740
Thanks for being part of the problem.
>>62905726
I don't always trust ratings.
For example, I loved the holy hell out of Nazis at the Centervof the Earth. I think it was better than Iron Sky, personally.
I'll read a dozen or so posts first.
Generally, if there is no one asking for clarification on something, it's going to be a bottom feeder script.
