The other characters have always said Jezz was a bit half-and-half, the problem is the audience was never shown this which made this whole scene seem ridiculous.
Even when he first met the guy Jezz's internal monologue talked over everything he said which was a prime moment to seed the idea in Jezz's head that he's into this guy. He also should of stayed and cuddled, then the whole "shit, am I gay now?" would actually make sense.

This didn't surprise me that much, as Jez has always been a bit gay (like when Hans have him a blowjob and when he liked Suzie's strong boyfriend), but it still seemed a bit out of the left field this late in the game.
Also, I don't know what it is, but the show feels off. The cuts, the pacing, and the line delivery are all different. One thing I found extremely jarring, for example, was when Mark and Dobby were five miles away alone in the middle of nowhere, and they make you think there's going to be something coming out of that, but when it just cuts to the both of them in the apartment already.
Also, they have increased the number of social media and technology-related jokes, which just seems odd for Peep Show. Just as odd as Superhans marrying an incredibly straight-edge black woman and being bossed around by her.
