Pretty much, except in this series it's obvious from episode 1 that the people who made the show can't make up their mind about what direction to take it.

Plot that makes zero sense.
Awful acting and half the people speak like they are dubbed.
Visually interesting.
Top-tier gory fight scenes (though they wouldn't have used digital blood).


It's just an excuse to show some well choreographed fights, everything else is irrelevant.

The amount of broken bones in the first fight was really nice. Shame it's in such a dumb setting with characters that don't really make sense.
