On the other hand, I really liked the Alias comics, think Jessica Jones is an interesting and previously well-written character, and want to see her faithfully portrayed and penned with the emotional depth and strangeness that she deserves.

Character is a girl with superpowers who was under the leash of a strange villain known only as the Purple Man. Purple's abilities are to make people want to comply with anything he requests of them. He would continuously tell young women to fuck him in gratuitous group sex sessions, then make Jessica watch and beg him to let her join in. Never actually let her participate, though.
Anyway, Purple Man gets really pissy about the Avengers messing up part of his plan, so he sends his dog Jessica to go kill them. She fails, of course, to solo kill all of the fucking Avengers and gets a mental block put in her head by Jean Grey of X-Men fame to prevent the Purple Man from ever getting in her head again. It takes her a long time to get out of the hospital following the EPIC beatdown the Avengers put on her, but once she does she opens up a private investigation agency in an attempt to do good in the world in between weeklong benders.
She meets Luke Cage, who, unbeknownst to her, moonlights as "that one guy who beats every asshole in Harlem within an inch of his life". That's where you're getting the interracial sex scene from. Luke and Jessica have been a thing ever since Jessica was a Marvel character, and Luke has always been black. He beats up drug dealers because he can. He's basically straight Omar.
Anyway, Purple Man comes back, realizes he can't get in her head anymore, and essentially wages a psychological terrorism campaign to break her because he REALLY doesn't like the fact that someone let his dog of the leash without asking.
At least, that's the story. I'm not sure how much they'll stick with it because, frankly, Jessica's character doesn't fit the mold of "strong womyn who can beat men at their own game". She's broken, and the Purple Man frankly embarrasses her in their little game of wits. I'm guessing it will be watered down and enjoyable.
