What are some nouvelle vague /tv/ memes?
>>62802198
/tv/ doesn't watch cinéma, only american flicks and movie of the month
>>62803903
Breathless is film but not cinema
>>62803929
It's still better than 90% of the "motion pictures" posted here. What are some "cinema" then fám?
>>62803984
I don't know Anon, I really liked Breathless. But if we're really trying to differentiate flicks from movies and films from cinema, then I don't think Breathless has any underlying themes or deep commentary.
>>62804085
>I don't think Breathless has any underlying themes or deep commentary.
I agree, but i just wanna know which ones you'd consider cinéma, since the criteria for differentiation is arbitrary and subjective.

>I don't think Breathless has any underlying themes or deep commentary.

>>62804203
What are they?
>>62804209
Kinda. But you should watch his 60's films regardless.
>>62804241
Really? Eyes wide shut above 2001? Why?
Also i really wanted to like Kieslowski but his films don't work for me, they seem empty besides their great cinematography. I think the themes he deals with are better handled with Antonioni. I haven't seen the third one yet but i'll check it out
>>62804242
Great post fám, but if you actually have an opinion you should post some cinéma then
>>62804405
Oh right, 2001 is cinema too. I just liked Eyes Wide Shut more among his filmography. I've only seen Blow-Up, and I would put more towards film than cinema.
>>62804538
He should have choked the bitch out.
>>62804405
>What are they?
if this dude can analyse this much from a week of research, you can surely try find some thematic content on your own:

Me too tbqh, i'd even say it's a movie. That's my least favorite of his, but his trilogy and Red desert are pure cinema in my opinion.
>>62804632
I'll watch it, thanks mate. I'm hating his voice though
