I watched this for a season or two before realizing that the writers have no intention of ever resolving the plot. Seriously, this is the worst trend in modern television. As soon as the viewer realizes you are just going to continue adding unnecessary complexity (through the introduction of some random villain) without progressing the over-arching plot, it becomes boring.
This show will continue to be mediocre for a couple more seasons and then have a sudden, unsatisfying conclusion when the writers realize it isn't going to be extended.

I was honestly burned out of it by the end of the Frozen arc. Started out so well, but I simply could not stomach the awful romances anymore.
God fucking damn it, would it hurt to write even one slightly believable relationship in this crap? The only well written relationships in this show are early Snow/Charming and Elsa and Anna, and they both fucking write themselves.
Now we've got Snow and Charming still somewhat alright romance in the background 99% of the time, some shoehorned same-sex romance for no better reason than because the writers could no longer stomach everyone calling them out on it and whatever the fuck is that bullshit with Robin Hood that everyone seems to treat as THE greatest thing to happen in the evil queen's life. Can't believe I miss the dead stable boy, but there you go.
I don't even have any hopes for this show anymore. Just do as >>62809964 said and give me an Arendelle spin-off.I'd like to stay for the SQ, but the sheer amount of delusion necessary to even imagine this pairing is simply beyond me.
