Who knows .it's soulless, like many of the Spielberg's films. The plot is plain ridiculous, if there's a plot at all, because all we get is one stupid action sequence after another.
The characters are unidimensional and empty. Good guys=Good guys. Bad guys=Bad guys. I didn't even give a damn about the girl in the whole movie. They tell us nothing about the characters, as if they don't even matter at all.
I was expecting to see one of the best films ever, as most people say it actually is. But instead, I had 2 hours of the most incredibly banal and stupid film I've ever seen.
Oh, and by the way, they made the arabs look stupid and the nazis look like assholes. Indiana Jones beat them all by himself... yeah, right. That's so typical of the American mainstream cinema.
