What's /tv/'s honest opinion about Spartacus?
Just finished watching the 3 seasons (4 if you count the Gannicus story) and I thought the story was good but the porn was over the top.

Good show that honestly peaked in it's first season. I enjoyed Crassus though in the final season. It was good to finally see a Roman with discipline and a sense of honor after the show depicted them all up until that point as being villainously brutal perverts or pervertedly villainous brutes.
And yeah, it should have had a stuck with Blood and Sand and had the life and times of Batiatus be it's own show.

One of my favourite shows, although it does drop in quality once Andy died.
GOAT finale
Not a perfect show, but really good. Great story with lots of great elements you don't see executed that well these days. Bad ass dudes doing bad ass things.

I felt bad for Ashur, all his life getting stomped on and being called weakling, his actions were justified.
I wonder how he could have managed as a Dominus.
