Satyricon, the "most homosexual film ever made" is probably his most alienating work so that's not very surprising. Amarcord is pretty >comfy though, I think you'd enjoy it. There's still the same feeling of aimlessness and lack of a strictly structured narrative though that's pretty typical of Fellini
