Shows you like that plebs here haven't heard of. Under appreciated shows.

that show is cool. there's really nothing you can post here that someone else hasn't seen.
I would have said Mr. Show, but now with W/ Bob and David being on Netflix....

Utopia is such a bleak fucking show, but it never fails to make me groove along with the theme music.
I hear the HBO remake with Fincher fell through. Despite feelings on Series 2 vs Series 2, I personally would love to see a Series 3 with everybody/everything original. Damn shows with proper finales.

Banshee is underrated and reminds me of this.

This show gets hated on here, especially season 2. What I'm trying to say is fuck this place

The fact that we never got a proper wrap up after Kelly offered to do it two hours is one of the biggest crimes against television in recent memory. Maybe humanity.
Love the visuals in Utopia. Even if they're plebbish.

Yeah, well fuck you too.
It's going to be on Netflix soon, so get ready for normeis to start praising it and acting like it's a new show.
Basically, it'll be Black Mirror all over again.

>Basically, it'll be Black Mirror all over again.
If that is any case I'll willing take all the normies shit about it being the second coming of christ if it means that Netflix will sink some cash into another series or two.
first season was fun to watch, it had nice visuals
but I got terribly bored towards the end and gave up 20 minutes into the second season

The second season had a lot more impressive visuals, especially Jessica's prison cell.
The story was pretty eh, but still, worth watching for those and the soundtrack.

Please explain how one of the most beautifully shot shows ever is plebbish.
>>62757441
God season 2 was an unfocused load of shit. Except for the first episode, which was awesome.
>>62757441
This was the perfect show. The atmosphere was unmatchable. The tension was palpable. I couldn't get enough. Still getting ready to watch season 2.

I don't understand this mentality at all. Season 2 complements and expands on the themes of the first season very well and continues to tell a tight cohesive story. There are aspects of the plot revealed in season 2 that completely change how you view season 1. Season 2 also maintains the humor, tension, excellent character work and dialogue, visuals, and music of the first season (and I would argue does them even better). It's about as close to perfect as a television show can get.

I don't know much about cinematography. I assumed the fact that I (a pleb), liked it meant that it was too obvious and not subtle and patrician enough.

Second season, first episode of Utopia is the greatest piece of television in history. You might as well stop watching after you've seen it.
>>62758579
>fuck this place

>black guy and white woman
Well there's a surprise.

No way my man.
The contrast between the brightness of the color palette, the bleakness of the content, and the massive, wide-angle shots that allow you to take everything in at once is a thing of beauty.
