That's not entirely plausible. What is is that ancient Indians were actually Vikings. It's not that far fetched that the could have sailed to Scandinavia. In fact, looking at at it from a comparative mythological view, it's entirely plausible. Thor = Indra, Jormungandr=Vrtra etc. The entire plausibility of this hypothesis is very plausible, based on linguistic, cultural and archaeological plausibilities, especially when one considers them in their entirety.
