I dunno, I guess the dark humor and the cynicism really got to me. Most so-called "dark comedies" rely on things like violence and death and stuff, this one just had some relatively ordinary life events in it but it still had a disturbing effect on me.

I think you'd have to be Jewish to really "get" this movie but my interpretation of it is how full of shit Jews are and how bankrupt they are spiritually. All their beliefs come from fear of outsiders and vague tradition
