So what did everyone actually think of Spectre?
On its own I found it to be disappointing. It seemed weird and pointless to me that they felt the need to connect all of Craig's films with the exception of Quantum of Solace. The first thirty minutes or so was okay but after the scenes in Rome it just got silly, and not in the good way.
I at least expected the action to be good, but that car chase and train scene were just boring.
Also in a post Austin Powers bond it was just ridiculous that they even conceived such a main villain. I know it's a callback but still.

Really? I thought the train scene was fucking dope. Actually my favorite action scene in the Craig Bond films so far, aside from Casino Royale's first on-foot chase.
Rest was okay with some great scenes and some stupid stuff, kinda like Skyfall. Other than the train scene, I really liked the Day of the Dead sequence and thought that the Spectre meeting scene was fantastic. I didn't think it was possible to do that sort of "Bad guys sitting around a table, leader kills the one who disappointed him" scene seriously after Austin Powers, but they managed to really nail a dark and tense atmosphere.

Dalton & Brosnan's Moneypennys were nothing special. Cute, maybe, but not at all memorable. Might as well do something different to make her stand out. Harris has done a good job and added some new touches to the character, I hope she sticks around a while.
