>waah Luke isn't on any of the promotional material he must be evil

Just deflecting blaster bolts
>>62737998
if you had two blasters and fired at once he would be dead.
>>62738077
I thought blaster bolts bounced off sabers...this one just fucking goes away in a spark flash.

>>62738077

Luke literally appears for like 2 minutes at the very end of the movie, like the last fucking scene is Rey arriving on Luke's planet where he's living, walking up and luke comes out of his hideout and greets her.
That's the end of the movie. It's already been confirmed pretty much. -
does anyone remember the Star Wars Wookiee Christmas Special Starring Darth Vader?
they included about four seconds of Vader from Episode IV, slowed down, with heavy breathing on the soundtrack. that's it, kids. now shut up and pester your parents to buy those toys.

I have a hard time believing it's nothing than a sequel hook cameo. I don't think he'll be a main character, but he'll show up towards the end and do something important, then train Rey and/or Finn in Episode VIII, becoming the new Obi-Wan/Yoda.
For his appearance to be so teased and then for it just to be a sequel hook "See you in May 2017 kids :^)" appearance would be a massive blue balls and piss everyone off, and I think JJ and Disney are smarter than that

exactly this desu family

We're probably going to appreciate the 'mystery' about Luke considering that this movie looks to be trying to recreate ep. IV beat for beat.
Honestly I'm less worried about Luke and more worried about the new films having a compelling villain.
>>62738413
true but what could possibly be the reason that's so good that they aren't utilising him for better marketing, i mean we've seen what he looks like in the movie already
