Do you think they'll ever do a sequel? I want to see a person who lives without Sadness, that sadcunt ruins my joy.
Although, I totally get that in the context of the story Sadness was needed otherwise Joy would've just came back and made the girl happy that she's running away from home.

The point is that you need moments of sadness to experience the greatest moments of joy. All the emotions are needed in tandem to create a whole, balanced person.
I GUESS you could do a sequel, but puberty isn't likely a subject that Pixar/Disney is willing to bank on...and it's kinda creepy.

I feel like all possibly interesting sequels would probably not be very kid friendly at all.
Like puberty and hormonal shit would be pushing it a bit, but all of the really neat ideas you can do with this concept like maybe a person on drugs or alcohol or even a child with a certain condition like Autism or ADD taking various pills that affect his mood COULD be interesting takes on this premise. But its not very appropriate for kids.
