the question i ask is where have you heard this because I've not really ever seen anyone talk about a red dead movie.
RDR would be a shit movie because all the game is is a regurgitation of a bunch of western tropes with the added novelty of player interaction. If you made a RDR movie it would be the most generic western of all time.
