the story from the first one doesnt continue in any way basically, the only one i can think of is Mikael is sleeping with the daughter of the older guy they found. The second and third one go deeper into Lisbeths past, so if you dont care about her character you will not enjoy it at all.
She also sleeps with a young black guy in the beginning of the 2nd one, and whores herself in the 3rd so /tv/ might have pretty big habbening

The sequel books are fucking garbage. Book 2 is a glorified Bond spy story and Book 3 was the world's longest, most boring John Grisham courtroom drama.
I didn't read that new one but it can't be worse then those fucking sequels. It's clear the guy only had one book in him and had no idea where to go from the original.
