Pinocchio
It sure as fuck not Tarzan. Fuck Phil Collins.
The Lion King. Every aspect is exceptional. Animation, music, characters, humor. Strongest dramatic storyline. Memorable setpieces that never feel apart from the story.

Christ the disaster of a third act of that movie. Entirely pointless conflict with no stakes or drama. Did anyone think that villain was working?

>White Wilderness is an American nature documentary produced by Walt Disney Productions in 1958 noted for its propagation of the misconception of lemming suicide.
>The film was directed by James Algar and narrated by Winston Hibler. It was filmed on location in Canada over the course of three years. It won the Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature.
>White Wilderness contains a scene that supposedly depicts a mass lemming migration, and ends with the lemmings leaping into the Arctic Ocean.
>There have been some reports that the Disney film describes this as an actual suicidal action by the lemmings, but the narrator in the film states that the lemmings are likely not attempting suicide, but rather are migrating and upon encountering water, attempt to cross it. If the water they attempt to cross is too wide, they suffer exhaustion and drown.
>Bob McKeown, found that the lemming scene was filmed at the Bow River near downtown Calgary and not at the Arctic Ocean as implied by the film. He found out that the lemmings did not voluntarily jump into the river but were pushed in by a rotating platform installed by the film crew.

The Little Mermaid is pure perfection!
Not only is it my favorite Disney film. It's also my favorite film period.
It's perfect in every way, shap and form.
All of Disneys best animators of the time worked on it so the animation and characters are amazing
You have a Divin Sea Witch.
Some of the best music to ever come out of Disney.
A classic non douchebag prince unlike the modern day Tangled / Frozen ones of today.
No forced black characters (no Sabastion doesn't count because hes a mother fuckin Awesome crab.)
A beautiful half naked Disney princess thats willing to shut up forever and sells her voice just so she can get legs which she can spreed for her Prince. Now thats a mother fucking girl right there.
>Ariel has such a weak motivation
Don't be so harsh she was 16 and it was true love. Why was it true love ? Because "at 16 it's always true love." ~ Zelda Spellman
Besides I like that her character was slightly dopy. It made her wide eyed / childlike which made her more loveable. You feel the need to put your arm around a person like that and protect / lover her forever.

I think Pinocchio is the best. Stunning art and animation. The only "children's" movie that I find truly disturbing.
The Lion King is my favorite though.
I'm assuming Pixar movies aren't in the discussion though.
Lion King
