>he didn't like Spectre

Back to Reddit with you
>>
>>62693681
I did like it. I gave literally no Bond movies less than a 5/10, which is an average score.

Spectre was an average movie. It had ups and downs.
>>
>best bond villain in a dumb movie
Waltz. Seriously, I love the guy, even though the third act of spectre kind of sucked.
>>
Hey OP, you've listed your best bond, but what about your best blofeld?
>>
>>62693710
Waltz did very well for a really, really badly written character.

>>62693731
I listed my best villain, is that not good enough? I'll consider my best Blofeld.
>>
>>62693743
No its not good enough! Just like mom used to say! Its never good enough!... its never... never good enough... I'll never be good enough... *sob*
>>
>>62693731
>>62693743
I've thought about it. It's Mike Meyers.

If you don't accept that, then it's a toss-up between Pleasance and Waltz. Dawson/Polmann and Hollis/Reitty simply don't count. Gray and Sydow are both good, but not great. Savalas was absolutely rubbish.

So I'm inclined to go Pleasance, because Waltz's Blofeld was written badly... but honestly, if we're talking best performance, I think it does need to go to Waltz.

Just want to add that my girlfriend and I just had a reasonably intense argument over whether the lyrics of Live and Let Die were "makes you give it a try" or "makes you give in and cry".
I argued the second option. I was right. She has now gone into our bedroom and slammed the door because I "always need to be fucking right".
No sex for me tonight, friends.
>>
>>62693954
I liked him in Kojak, if that makes you feel better.
>>
>>62693999
I... really?... what? You're ruining your relationship over that?... Jesus Christ, OP. Shut the damn computer off and go speak to her.

And tell her to take the computer away, because you're probably an addict like me and need someone to get you away from the screen.
>>
Who for next Bond? Henry Cavill of Michael Fassbender?
>>
>>62693999
>slammed the door because I "always need to be fucking right".

Why is this a thing that women do?

>I think it's x
>NO I THINK IT'S Y
>Ok let's google it and find out, I'm curious to know for sure - yep, it's x
>WHY DO YOU ALWAYS NEED TO BE RIGHT

I've literally never heard a single man complain about someone "always needing to be right" but I've heard it from easily more than a dozen women

I don't even get what it fucking means, how is wanting to find out the answer instead of bickering at each other and not knowing a bad thing?

Actually that's going in the right direction, MI6 tends to hire average sized people, don't want to attract attention towering over a crowd.

So Daniel Radcliffe?
>>
>>62694352
He still looks too young to be Bond imo. Maybe in another decade.
>>
>>62694102

>>62694291
She's okay now, sitting on the lounge and watching TV. I just get on her nerves, apparently. It was exactly how you said it, too. I just said maybe we should Google it so we both know, and she lost her shit at me.

>>62694150
Oh, fuck off. I was very careful to say that he wasn't my favourite, just that I objectively think he's the best. I'm a Dalton boy, myself.

>>62694170
Average movie. If you disagree, feel free to list its positive attributes.

>>62694277
Cavill would be good but can't happen now that he's done UNCLE. Seemed very Roger Mooreish, too, which probably wouldn't work as well with the current Bond tone and the angle they're taking with it.

I personally reckon Tom Hardy could do a good job. And if Nolan gets onboard, that'd be great. Bane was excellent until his deus ex machina death, which was fucking rubbish.

>>62694339
Not part of the Bond franchise, and you damn well fucking know it.

>>62694352
... I'm a little ashamed that I didn't instantly recoil from this. Tell you what, let me watch Victor Frankenstein, and I'll get back to you.

are you the guy who posts that michael cera shoops on imgur every day?
>>
>>62694385
>I'm a little ashamed that I didn't instantly recoil from this.
The fact that he got absorbed into the Hollywood machine as a kid shouldn't discredit his acting abilities. And he seems like a decent bloke judging from his QI appearance.

But like the other anon said, he still is a bit young to portray Bond. Once he hits 30-35 he should be ripe for it though.
>>
>>62694385
Quit being autismo. You're getting on her nerves because you're clueless about her feelings. You probably do that constantly, trying to figure out if you're right or not instead of letting it slide and going on to something more important.
>>
>>62694449
But now we both know for sure, and we're wiser people for it.
I'm not gonna "let it slide".
What if we have kids? I'm supposed to just shut up and be quiet while she fills their heads with disinformation?
>>
>>62694385

>Oh, fuck off. I was very careful to say that he wasn't my favourite, just that I objectively think he's the best

But he's complete shit
>>
Do people really like Casino Royale that much? I've only watched the Craig Bond films and really, Casino Royale wasn't that much better than the rest, except for QOS.
>>
>>62694604
He's an excellent actor, whether or not you think he's a good pick for Bond.
>>
>>62694683

>He's an excellent actor

Not really
>>
>>62694695
i thought he was great in the girl with the dragon tattoo and defiance.
>>
>>62694449
>having a rational conversation like a normal human being
>being autismo
>>
>>62694658
It's not my favourite, but I do believe it's the best one.

That opening fight scene in B&W was great, with the "Yes, considerably." line being GOAT.

Then the theme song, which was great.

Le ebin Parkour

The poker, the girls, the car chase, the stairwell fight, the gun fight. All the components for Bond are there.

The Venice sequence was excellent.

Then the ending, where he shoots White and gives the "Bond, James Bond" line. Awesome.

>>62694481
dont worry, i agree. if you giys disagree, you look it up to see whos right. not like you put money on it.
