i thought Mtv had the rights for Misfits and were working on a US remake.
Skins US version doing poorly may had scared them off.
not sure how you can pull off Misfits in the US.
the actors in the UK show had a lot of character. i don't think they could just copy those character off.
on another note David Fincher left the Utopia US version that's being made by HBO.
Rooney Mara was rumored to be in it(probably as Jessica Hyde).
i wasn't on board with a US version of Utopia until they announced David Fincher was going to Direct all episodes.
only reason the UK Utopia got cancelled was because of HBO making a US version.
if there is a US version, hopefully it ends with S2

tfw just finished Skins season 1 and 2 + Cassie episodes from 7.
10/10 show, I'm not even bothering with the other seasons because I know the cast change is going to ruin it.

honestly, Nathan is what made the show. they won't find someone like him. plus us americans can't into banter whatsoever so there's that. plus plus it's MTV so they'll just hire a generic good looking actor who can't act for shit.

I really liked the ending, it would have been easy for the writers to wrap up everything nicely but instead they went for a far more interesting and mature approach.
