Honestly i thought all the race stuff was crybaby sjw commie bullshit until now. But this has me convinced there's some anti-black initiative in hollywood/mainstream media.
It's pretty good. I don't like kids on sitcoms very much though so that makes it hard to watch sometimes. I feel like it's trying to be more like a modern Norman Lear type show than Fresh Prince. It does a decent job but I think The Carmichael Show has done a better job of being updated Norman Lear by committing more to the style.

I like how much they shyed away from Andre being OBSESSED with making his family as black as possible. It was like a family friendly boondocks.
Their were also a lot more gay jokes mostly as jr's expense.
Also what the fuck does Dre do in the house? Bow works at a hospital (probably on call 24/7), picks up the kids, makes dinner and maintains the house. Meanwhile dre shoots the shit at work and then makes a mess.
